Crib STTN #1

So last night was my first night of sleep training Lennon; and it was a major success *thank you, thank you* She slept from 10pm to 630am without waking up in the middle for a feed. And I am one VERY well-rested mama <3 When she woke up this morning she laid in her crib for about 30 minutes cooing and laughing to herself before she started getting fussy and needed a diapy change. Oh man it was amazing sleeping in my bed.. to myself.. last night! I hope she does just as well tonight, but I know that probably won't happen - but one can hope!

Sleep Training

So after 4 nights in a row of Lennon sleeping 7+ hours without waking for a night feeding, I've decided that now is a good a time as any to break her of our co-sleeping habit I started.  She's been laying in her crib now for the past 10 minutes without making a peep, so we'll see how long this lasts.  If she starts crying, I plan on going in and calming her down until she's just about asleep, then laying her back down.  And repeating the process as many times as necessary until she decides that her crib is for sleeping now.
